Ad Council Presents Public Service Award to Heads of Time Warner

Last night, Gerald Levin and Ted Turner, Chairman and CEO and Vice Chairman of Time Warner Inc., respectively, received The Advertising Council's Public Service Award at the organization's 47th Annual Public Service Award Dinner held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. The presentation was made by the 1999 honoree, Frank Bennack, Jr., President and CEO of The Hearst Corporation. The award is presented annually to a business leader who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to community service and volunteerism.
