Fueled by its break-out success on Discovery Channel, the Emmy award-winning game show "Cash Cab," where a host picks up unsuspecting people in a New York taxi cab and throws questions at them, is heading to broadcast television. MGM Domestic Television has acquired the U.S. broadcast syndication rights and will be offering the series in fall 2010. John Bryan, executive vice president, broadcast strategy, MGM, stated: "Cash Cab is an addictive game show with a built-in fan base and a proven track record, making it an ideal choice for broadcasters."
