Recession or no recession, wine lovers everywhere wait breathlessly for the third Thursday of November, when the year's Beaujolais Nouveau is first available for sale.

The Austin, Texas-based Whole Foods says it will launch this year's version of the seasonal Georges DuBÅ“uf's vintage with an exclusive label. And to boost sales, it will also feature Persillé du Beaujolais, a soft blue cow's milk cheese produced by a small, artisanal dairy in the Rhone Alps.
