ValueClick, Inc., a provider of performance-based Internet advertising solutions, today announced an impressive milestone - the 10 millionth opt-in email name custom-generated for their advertising and direct marketing clients. ValueClick generated the ten million email names using a technique called co-registration, whereby opt-in check boxes are strategically placed on websites in the ValueClick network which match up with the marketer's target audience. When a visitor to one of the sites voluntarily checks a box in order to receive information or offers from the marketer, their request is provided to the marketer in real time, so that the request can be fulfilled immediately. This approach overcomes the two most common complaints with the current environment for email marketing - the lack of high-quality lists, and the overuse of the few that do exist. Using ValueClick's approach, marketers receive fully customized opt-in lists that are built from scratch for their specific needs, made up of 100% qualified leads. And, since marketers receive the leads in real-time, they can act to provide the information while the request is still fresh in the consumer's mind. Marketers are only charged for unduplicated leads, and both rental and outright purchase options are available.
