Hearst Teams With YuMe On Video Ads

  • December 7, 2009

Hearst Magazines Digital Media has tapped video ad network YuMe to provide video advertising across its properties, including Cosmopolitan.com and GoodHousekeeping.com, the companies announced Monday.

Under the agreement, Hearst will use YuMe's technology to ensure that video ad impressions from prominent advertisers are paired with relevant premium content. That, in turn, would help Hearst boost revenue from its video programming. At the same time, YuMe will also expand the high-quality video content available to advertisers through its audience channel focused on women.

Hearst operates 25 Web sites and nine mobile sites including original online properties such as food site Delish.com and RealBeauty.com. Mark Walsh
