According to the Wall Street Journal's online edition, AOL Time Warner Inc.'s Time Inc. is in talks to acquire IPC Magazines Group PLC, one of the U.K.'s largest consumer-magazine publishers, in an
effort to expand overseas. The report quoted an executive familiar with the talks as saying that the two sides have discussed a price ranging between 850 million sterling and 1.1 billion sterling
($1.17 billion-$1.51 billion).
