Shake-Up At Ad Age, Too

  • December 11, 2009
In the second shake-up in the same day at one of the advertising and media industries' top trade publishers, Crain Communications announced that long-time Advertising Age Editor Jonah Bloom was leaving to become CEO and editor-in-chief of B-to-B blog publisher Breaking Media, and that digital editor and media reporter Abbey Klaassen was named executive editor - the first woman to hold the top editorial position at the venerable trade magazine. The news followed the official announcement that Advertising Age rival Adweek, along with seven sister publications (Mediaweek, Brandweek, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, etc.) were sold by Nielsen Co. to e5 Global Media.
