NBC's coverage of the NBA playoffs still is showing increased ratings after four games. Wednesday night's Game 4 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers had a national rating of 12.6
with a 23 share. NBC Sports research estimates 42 million people watched all or part of the game. NBC's four-game NBA Finals average rating of 12.3 and a 23 share represents an 11 percent increase
from last year's 11.1 and 20 share for the series between Los Angeles and Indiana. The Lakers-76ers Game 4 rating was a drop of four percent from last year's 13.1 and 24 share for the game between the
Lakers and Pacers.
