As the vaccine for the H1N1 strain of the flu becomes more widely available, retailers are scrambling to provide the innoculations for customers.

CVS and its MinuteClinic are the latest, announcing that it will begin providing flu shots at CVS stores in Alabama, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, New York and Pennsylvania, and at MinuteClinic locations in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. Other companies that are now actively promoting vaccine availability in some locations include RiteAid, Kroger, and Wal-Mart Stores.--Sarah Mahoney
