Amicada to Place Ad Council TV PSAs On Web

The Advertising Council and Amicada, Inc. announced today that they have signed an agreement that will use Amicada's full-screen, full-motion TV-quality proprietary technology to transmit to the Internet TV Public Service Advertisements (PSAs) produced for The Advertising Council. Amicada has also donated $1.1 million of media space for PSAs to assist the Advertising Council in launching more programs.

Under the agreement, Amicada and its Platform Partners will provide media space on its PACS online advertising system, delivering PSAs, originally produced for television, on behalf of several Ad Council's causes including Childhood Asthma Prevention, Drunk Driving Prevention, High School Dropout Prevention and others.

Amicada's technology offers Internet users TV-quality content, both online and offline, irrespective of the bandwidth of their Internet connections.
