Apple has scheduled a Jan. 27 press event for what is widely believed to be the launch of a tablet-like computing device. The characteristically cryptic invitation read "Come see our latest creation"
and featured brightly colored paint splotches around the Apple logo. Apple's feverishly anticipated tablet computer is reported to have a 10- to 11-inch touchscreen and resemble a supersized iPod.
