  • January 27, 2010
Campbell Soup Company has announced that its North American Foodservice division is launching Campbell's Select Harvest, 100%-natural soups in eating-out venues at college campuses, office buildings, hospitals and other institutions throughout the U.S.

Campbell's Select Harvest was its fastest-growing line at retail last year, according to the company.

As part of the product launch, the N.A. foodservice division is sponsoring a "Culinary Me" sweepstakes for operators and a "Better Me" sweepstakes for consumers. The "Culinary Me" grand prize will be awarded to five operators, and will include a Culinary Package and Culinary Day at their operations, hosted by a Campbell N.A. foodservice chef. The winning consumer will receive a spa getaway.

Campbell's Select Harvest foodservice soups are packaged by the case ($31 to $33 per case). Each case includes three, four-pound, 100%-recyclable plastic trays of soup.--Karlene Lukovitz
