World Wrestling Entertainment wants a cable network and plans to launch one in the next 18 months, according to WWE chairman Vince McMahon, reports
Multichannel News. The proposed network would
not interfere with the WWE's current cable and broadcast shows, including USA Network's "WWE Monday Night Raw" and MyNetworkTV's "SmackDown." It would exist as a marketing tool for such shows.
The WWE already has a cable channel. It's called Fox "News."
