Hooked Media Launches Yoo-Mee Community Gaming Platform

Hooked Media Group, a social gaming company backed by $4.5 million in funding from U.S. Venture Partners, and Altos Ventures, has launched Yoo-Mee, a gaming platform aimed at the more than 200 million people who play casual games. Yoo-Mee connects with gamers wherever they play--Web sites, social networks and mobile devices--to create a community where people can compete and join in the conversation. Plugging into the Yoo-Mee platform enables a publisher's site visitors to pull players from social networks and across the Web into their sites using one simple line of code. Agreements in place with game studios give Hooked Media a unique opportunity to continue to grow the Yoo-Mee community by distributing games through the platform. -- Laurie Sullivan

    Wanted to thank Laurie for a great snipped of Yoo-Mee.
