Report: Android Impressions Jumped 25% In February

Impressions from Android-based phones grew 25% in February, marking the biggest monthly increase for the Google operating system to date, according to the latest metrics report from mobile ad network Millennial Media. Overall, Apple remained the top handset maker, accounting for 39% of total impressions. Smartphones as a whole generated 61% of impressions, up 2% from the prior month. Millennial says its network now reaches 58.1 million U.S. subscribers, or 83% of mobile Web users. Additional metrics can be found here. --Mark Walsh
