Rite Aid Launches Allergy Rewards Push

  • March 30, 2010
Rite Aid says it has partnered with the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology again to create a free allergy guide, which it is distributing in about 4,800 stores this spring, as well as online.

Seasonal allergies plague about 50 million Americans, and the program includes email and mobile pollen alerts, as well as several rewards options, which offer gift cards in exchange for purchasing allergy products. For example, by joining the six-month reward and buying $75 worth of Zyrtec or Benadryl, consumers will earn a $20 gift card.--Sarah Mahoney
