EUniverse, an interactive entertainment network, has announced that its online dating site Cupid Junction ( has garnered more than 450,000 members since the site launched in mid-June. Additionally, the site has experienced an average growth of 22 percent and 4,700 love connections per week. Brad Greenspan, Chairman and CEO, eUniverse, said that eUniverse achieved its first net profit via a predominantly online ad revenue model, and that the success of Cupid Junction proves that a company can leverage their network to successfully build membership and subscription businesses.
