Kohl's, which has been beefing up such offerings in recent years, with partners ranging from Vera Wang and Daisy Fuentes to Tony Hawk and Candie's, says that sales from its private and exclusive brands accounted for 47% of sales in the first quarter of this year, "up significantly from 2009."
The Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based budget retailer adds that that footwear continues to be a key growth area, and one of its strongest performing categories. The Aldo lines will include dress and casual shoes for both men and women.
