The Economist Web site has a new feature, By Invitation, that provides readers with direct access to business and academic leaders worldwide. "Economics by Invitation" is the first in the
series to launch and will feature 55 leading economists invited to answer questions set by the magazine's editors. Readers can join the conversation for free by commenting on the articles written by
the experts. Ron Diorio, vice president, product and community development, The Economist online, said the mission is to "create the leading destination for intelligent conversation and debate."
Advertisers will be offered standard banner media and roadlocks.
