Conrad Black's Fraud Charges Overturned

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday set aside three fraud convictions against former media baron Conrad Black and sent his case back to a lower court, reports CBC News. The conviction for obstruction of justice remains in place. His lawyers will move to have him released on bail. Critics charged the "honest services" fraud law was too vague; now Chicago prosecutors will decide whether to retry him on fraud charges. Black is more than two years into his 6½-year sentence in a Florida prison for fraud and obstruction of justice.
