Reach Media Group is expanding its health-oriented network through national advertising sales agreements with Cardinal Health and Everwell, which operate place-based digital video networks reaching customers in pharmacies nationwide.

The agreement with RMG will allow Cardinal Health to benefit from the former's relationships with a number of national advertisers, while helping RMG scale up its pharmacy network significantly.

Cardinal Health's Pharmacy Health Network includes 650 screens reaching 4.5 million viewers per month with branded health and wellness content. In addition to advertising, the Cardinal network can be used for special promotions and coupons; it is integrated into RMG's geo-targetable and IP-addressable digital network.

Everwell is a digital out-of-home TV Network reaching consumers in physician waiting rooms with custom content and advertising. With the exclusive ad sales agreement with Everwell, RMG's point-of-care network expands to a total of 1,700 screens which reach 6 million viewers a month.

Garry McGuire, RMG's CEO, stated: "Connecting with active consumers inside their doctors' offices will enable marketers to activate this lucrative customer segment at moments of maximum influence."

RMG isn't the only out-of-home advertising company making strategic moves. Also this week, Titan announced that it has acquired 1,900 pay phones at 1,300 phone kiosk locations around New York City from Verizon, tripling its phone kiosk inventory to over 5,000 advertising surfaces.

Last year, Titan bought 652 pay phones at 462 kiosk locations from Verizon; the sale effectively liquidates all of Verizon's pay phone kiosk advertising inventory in New York City. Titan offers advertisers full wrapped kiosks and said it will be developing more creative and technological solutions for this platform.
