'Miss Coors Light' To Be NASCAR Brand Presence

MillerCoors' Coors Light, the official beer of NASCAR, has chosen its first "Miss Coors Light" to represent the brand in its NASCAR sponsorship activities.

According to the company, the winner, Rachel Rupert, is a lifelong NASCAR fan. She will begin her brand representation activities at the Loudon, N.H. race on Sept. 19 and continue them through 2010's "Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup" races and throughout the 2011 racing season.

Rupert, chosen from among more than 100 candidates, will interact with fans and drivers during at-track appearances, brand-sponsored events and online. She will also present the Coors Light Pole Award each week to the top NASCAR Spring Cup Series and Nationwide Series qualifiers. Next year, she will appear in the brand's NASCAR-themed point-of-sale materials.
