Nearly 70% of Americans still watch their favorite television shows at the time they are broadcast, and only 16% record them to watch later, according to a Marist College poll. It also found 9% watch
online and 7% don't watch TV at all. The poll surveyed 1,005 people. The findings split along age lines: 80% of 45+ adults watch TV; only 56% under that age. Younger demos prefer watching TV online or
via DVRs.
