Nintendo Reopens New York City Store

Nintendo has reopened its Nintendo World store after a brief renovation. The 10,000-square-foot store at Rockefeller Plaza in New York has been upgraded with new Nintendo graphics, new flooring and new interactive opportunities.

The store is adorned with images of classic Nintendo characters such as Mario, Donkey Kong, Princess Peach, Yoshi and Bowser as well as several Pokemon characters. Interactive stations include posts for the Nintendo DSi and DSiXL systems, as well as upgraded TV monitors and bamboo flooring. The store will host a special event for consumers on Nov. 7. Details were not available.
