Walmart, which traditionally kicks off its holiday selling season first thing Black Friday morning, says it will open most of its stores at midnight instead. The Walmart Open House will offer big savings on certain items, such as an HP Laptop for $298 and a 32-inch Emerson LCD HDTV for $198.

And it's already posting price updates on those specials on its walmart.com page. Other retailers are also pushing the Black Friday clock back this year: Sears and Toys R Us have already said they will open stores on Thanksgiving Day.
