Report: Most Stores Sweeten Cyber Monday Deals

This year, nine out of ten retailers will offer special promotions for Cyber Monday, up from 72% in 2007, according to a new survey from Shop.org, the online division of the National Retail Federation.

And this year, more are offering specific deals (49%, up from 42.9% last year), planning one-day sales (41.2% vs. 32.9% last year) and free shipping on all purchases (21.6% vs. 15.7% last year).

The survey, conducted by BIGResearch, also reports that 54.5 percent of workers with Internet access, or 70.1 million people, will shop for holiday gifts from the office this year.
