Hyundai is launching a new kind of owners manual for its new Equus luxury car.

The new manual is a downloadable app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. In addition to the usual rundown of information about vehicle features, the app has live service scheduling called "Equus At Your Service" that includes valet service.

Said John Krafcik, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor America, in a statement, "It's not about putting the owner at the front of the service line -- it's about eliminating the line entirely, by demonstrating extraordinary respect for their time as part of the ownership experience."
