Ewanick will have oversight of GM's global messaging for Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Holden, Opel, Vauxhall and any other brands GM markets worldwide. He will also oversee GM corporate marketing and the automaker's participation in global auto shows and events.
The company says Ewanick, in his capacity as global CMO will report to Dan Akerson, and to Mark Reuss, president, GM North America in his current U.S. marketing role.
