There is another win for Pandora in its continuing push to bring online audio into automobiles. At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Pandora and Toyota announced that the carmaker will integrate the country's most popular Internet radio service into Toyota's "Entune" multimedia system.

Like previous auto integrations, users can connect Pandora to the Toyota Entune system via any cell phone with a data plan, including smart and feature phones.

Jessica Steel, Pandora's senior vice president of business development, stated: "Our automotive partnerships further ensure that Pandora is being heard in the most popular environment for radio listening: the car." She added that the company aspires to make "Pandora in cars as popular as Pandora on smartphones."

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times in October, Pandora founder Tim Westergren said: "Our goal is to be in every new car that rolls off the manufacturing line."

Pandora already has partnerships with several major automakers, including Ford and Mercedes, along with radio manufacturers Alpine and Pioneer, whose after-market products allow drivers to access Pandora from car dashboards.

Pandora is currently the most popular Internet radio service overall, according to Ando Media's monthly ratings for October and November. It dominated October online listening with an average 556,359 active sessions, and an average time spent listening of 49.8 minutes, while November showed an average 585,558 active sessions and the same time spent listening.
