Google Q4 Earnings Benefit From E-commerce

Google is getting a lift from e-commerce (the fourth quarter last year was its best online shopping season since 2006) and its mobile platform Android and apps.

Larry Page, who co-founded the company, will replace Eric Schmidt as CEO in April. Page returns after having stepped down from that spot in 2001. Schmidt will be executive chairman.
