TaylorMade Turns N.Y.'s Lexington Avenue White

  • February 9, 2011

Golf company TaylorMade is putting a driving range in Manhattan on Thursday. The purpose of the event is to tout the company's R11 and Burner SuperFast 2.0 drivers.

Top players Martin Kaymer and Sergio Garcia, along with Mark King, TaylorMade-Adidas president and CEO, will have a shoot-out, trying to hit targets inside the driving range, which will be at 54th Street and Lexington Avenue.

The program will include snow blowers and white hats. Each time one of the players hits a target at the end of the range, $500 goes to Operation Game On!, an organization using the game of golf as part of wounded warriors' rehabilitation efforts.
