Pagani Heads To U.S. With Supercar

Pagani Automobili SpA will begin selling the Huayra later this year for a cool $1.1 million. The company's managing director, Francesco Zappacosta said fewer than five will be sold in the U.S. this year. "However we are planning on expanding our factory in the next year and this will allow us to sell between 10 an 15 cars per year in the U.S." The car joins the rarefied company of Bugatti Veyron and Lamborghini Reventon among vehicles that cost more than $1 million. If one needs to ask about the fuel economy of the car, which has a gnarly V12 engine under the hood and a top speed of 230, one probably ought to be looking elsewhere.
