SportLine.com Inc. said it billed $8.8 million in the conversion of its fantasy football business to a fee-based service, well over its earlier projection of between $3 million and $4.5 million. The
firm, which publishes CBS SportsLine.com, converted to the fee-based service this fall and formed 65,000 leagues and 825,000 teams. It said revenues were more than $10 million from fantasy sports
subscriptions during 2002, including $1.5 million in fantasy baseball.
