Amex has launched a campaign via the Foursquare location-based mobile platform that lets members sign up and link their personal credit cars to their Foursquare social accounts. The effort, which
launched at SXSW, lets members who have sign up and linked up find local merchants offering special deals or discounts. The effort started in Austin, Tex. where some 60 merchants took part in the
program. The SXSW program is Foursquare's first deal with a credit card program.
