NBCU Ups 2 Veteran Execs: Blanchard, Cardinale

Now that the Comcast/NBCU integration is official, changes in the executive suite continue apace. NBCUniversal upped two longtime executives within the company -- Cameron Blanchard and Tony Cardinale. Both were named executive vice president in the newly created NBCUniversal Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media division.  

Also, Margaret Lazo was appointed executive vice president for the division and will relocate from Los Angeles to New York. Previously, she was an HR executive.

Blanchard was previously senior vice president of cmmunications, NBC Universal Women & Lifestyle Entertainment Networks. Cardinale served as the senior vice president of strategic insights, Women & Lifestyle Entertainment Networks.

Each will expand their responsibilities to include oversight for the portfolio in their respective charge. Both report to the division's chairman Lauren Zalaznick.

NBCUniversal's Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media division includes Bravo Media, Oxygen Media, Style, Sprout, ExerciseTV, TV One, Telemundo, mun2, iVillage, Daily Candy, Swirl and Fandango.
