Caballero TV & Cable Sales Inc. said it had closed a new exclusive representation agreement with Televicentro de Puerto Rico. Televicentro offers locally produced Spanish language programming
specifically targeted to the island's audience, including local news, variety shows, first-run movies, original special events and made-for-TV movies. The station also features locally produced
sitcoms and game shows. Puerto Rico has a population of 3.9 million and 1.2 million television households. "We look forward to working with Caballero, a pioneer in Hispanic broadcasting, to strengthen
our brand recognition in the U.S. market," said Jonathan Garcia, vice president of sales and marketing at Televicentro. Caballero TV & Cable Sales represents 26 independent Hispanic television
stations, including MásMúsica TeVe Network and LATV in Los Angeles.
