Forget Sundance -- General Motors' Cadillac division is holding forth on the other side of the pass in Vail. The automaker is at the Vail Film Festival to promote its cars, crossovers and SUVs at the festival, of which Cadillac has presenting sponsorship.

As part of its sponsorship, Cadillac will have short films that promote Cadillac's in-vehicle entertainment systems for the 2011 Escalade Platinum, CTS Sport Wagon and SRX crossover.

"The passenger entertainment systems in our Cadillacs truly bring the movie experience into the vehicle," said Don Butler, vice president of Cadillac marketing. "We thought the Vail Film Festival provided a great opportunity to showcase our latest technology and also give attendees another way to enjoy these fine films."

Cadillacs are also the official shuttle vehicles at the festival and will take celebrities like Michael Imperioli and Kate Bosworth from event to event. Also attending is Josh Lucas, star of "Sweet Home Alabama," "Glory Road," "The Lincoln Lawyer," and Clint Eastwood's upcoming "J. Edgar."
