  • June 19, 2003
Crispin Porter + Bogusky was the big winner at yesterday's Kelly Awards ceremony, receiving the $100,000 Grand Prize Kelly for its MINI launch campaign. The Gold Kelly went to Peterson Milla Hooks for "Sign of the Times," a campaign for Target, while Campbell-Ewald Advertising won the Silver Kelly for its Chevrolet "Lyrics" campaign. The awards, handed out during the Association of National Advertisers' Print Advertising Forum, celebrate print ads that are both creative and effective. They are named in honor of former Magazine Publishers of America president Stephen Kelly. "As evidenced by the Kelly winners and finalists, not only do magazine ads feature outstanding creative, but they make a difference to the advertisers' bottom line," said MPA executive vice president and chief marketing officer Ellen Oppenheim.
