Food Network Scores Big With Barbecue

Food Network's BBQ Bonanza Week generated the network's highest average weekly rating in primetime, a 0.7 HH rating with an estimated 568,000 HH on average. The shows included FoodNation with Bobby Flay, which had a 1.2 HH rating on Tuesday night; All American Festivals with a 1.01 HH rating the same night and BBQ Bootcamp, which posted a 1.08 HH rating on Sunday night. The network's average audience, on a household basis, in prime was up 33% vs. the same week prior year (568,000 vs. 428,000 HH impressions). Other shows included Food Finds BBQ with a 0.93 HH rating and Emeril Live! that delivered 0.91 HH rating.
