CNBC's Burnett Expected To Make CNN Jump

The CNBC anchor Erin Burnett is expected to sign a long-term CNN contract, reports The New York Times. The move will allow Burnett to extend her reporting beyond business news, although there is no word on what her duties will be. She has been at CNBC since 2005; prior to that she worked at Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and Bloomberg TV.
