Navy Looks To Trademark 'SEAL Team'
May 19, 2011, 5:21 PM
It looks like the U.S. Navy is laying claim to the term, SEAL Team, having filed an application for trademarking it the same day -- May 13 -- Disney filed for one for SEAL Team 6, reports Fusible.com.
"There was speculation among journalists and bloggers about Disney's plans for the trademark," says Fusible. " The applications range from clothing and toys to entertainment and education products."
SEAL Team is the elite Navy corps that killed Osama bin Laden earlier this month.

Shame on you, Disney, a bastion of creativity - or to any other company with this big idea, that you have to be so damn greedy, selfish without the foresight of not be able to see the harm that can come from you stealing the United States' Navy highest honored service's name. Are you going to donate all of your profits back to the Navy or what? Is there not just one little thing you can do for all of those men and women who serve you without out taking something from them?
