Google has hired ex-Procter & Gamble digital marketing director Lucas Watson as vice president YouTube advertising sales and marketing, notes ClickZ. He reports to Henrique de Castro, Google's global
president of media, mobile and platforms. YouTube has been focusing more on professional content and less on user-generated material. The tactic is intended to attract more branding ad dollars from
companies such as P&G.
