Murdoch's Australian Newspapers Add Pay Wall

Rupert Murdoch's News Limited has unveiled its paid digital content strategy, promising a model that gives online readers free content while putting some "premium" journalism behind a pay wall, similar to The Wall Street Journal model, explains The Australian. The Australian will be the first News masthead to charge readers on its site and will be followed by its tabloid sisters: The Herald Sun and The Daily Telegraph, in the coming months.
