  • July 23, 2003
Google and weather.com have entered into a multiyear agreement that will make Google's search technology, and targeted content and search advertisements available on weather.com. Google's web search is now available on all pages of the weather.com website. When weather.com users search the web using Google, targeted advertising also appears on the search result pages based on a user's specific search query, providing the user with more relevant information. In addition, through the Google AdSense program, weather.com users will also see advertisements targeted to the unique content of individual pages throughout the weather.com site. For example, the local forecast page for San Francisco may include Google advertisements for San Francisco hotels or regional activities. weather.com will share in the revenue generated when their users click on Google advertisements.
