Meredith Corp. has snared Brenda Saget Darling away from Conde Nast to serve as publisher of Traditional Home. Darling, previously vice president/publisher of House & Garden, begins her new job on August 4. In a press release, Meredith Magazine Group president Jack Griffin touted House & Garden's gains in "non-endemic" ad categories, such as retail and financial services, during Darling's tenure. "We are very excited to bring aboard someone with Brenda's background as we build on Traditional Home's leadership in the upscale shelter field," Griffin said in the release. Published eight times per year, Traditional Home boasts a rate base of 925,000. It has increased its circulation in each of its 13 years.
