Twitter, TV Spots Locate Notorious Mobster

Media is a powerful crime fighter. For 16 years, the FBI had pursued James "Whitey" Bulger, the notorious Boston mobster, across five continents. On Tuesday, they blasted photos of Bulger's longtime girlfriend, Catherine Elizabeth Greig, across television screens and Twitter. Within hours, the search was over, reports The Washington Post. Agents arrested the duo at a Santa Monica apartment complex. The $2 million reward may go to the person who tipped off the FBI.
