Sam's Club says it plans to offer free vision screenings on Aug. 13, in all its locations that include pharmacies or optical centers. The event is timed for the back-to-school season, and also
includes free glucose tests. (Diabetes is a leading cause of new blindness.) The Walmart-owned chain says it plans additional free diabetes screenings in September.
