News International Launches Online, Mobile Celeb Service

Rupert Murdoch's News International is launching a new online and mobile service addressing sports and show business, reports The Guardian. Some 21 jobs at a new "digital journalism company" have been advertised. Former News of the World staffers believe the company wants the celebrity market successfully exploited by the Daily Mail, which is now the UK's No. 1 national newspaper site with 70 million monthly users.
