Turner Broadcasting System's Adult Swim Digital is debuting the first in a series of games for the iOS platform this week. "Monsters Ate My Condo" was developed by indie game shop PikPok, which will produce more in coming months.

The 99-cent offering is a simple puzzle challenge that riffs on Anime styling. A second game from partner Grumpyface Studios, "Bring Me Sandwiches!!" will launch later in September. Adult Swim is planning at least five iOS titles this year and more in 2012.

Adult Swim has been adept at leveraging the iOS platform in extending its reach. The company already has 19 apps in the Apple App Store. Its main offering gives viewers access to full episodes, clips and previews of on-air programming.

The iOS games extend into mobile the successful online strategy at AdultSwim.com; the digital destination for the brand has 70 free online games, like "Robot Unicorn Attack" and "Amateur Surgeon," both ported to the iOS platform.

The Web site averages 2.4 million unique users a month in the U.S. With these partnerships with independent game developers, Adult Swim is extending beyond game ports and into original iOS programming.

Adult Swim takes over Turner's Cartoon Network each evening between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., featuring classic animations and offbeat fare from around the world.
