Miller Lite, Goodyear, Dollar General Back 'The Chase'

Brad-b

Miller Lite will give a "man cave" to two winners every time race car driver Brad Keselowski wins during The Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

New Sprint Cup Series sponsor Dollar General is running a sweepstakes through Nov. 12 in 9,500 stores nationwide, with participation from such NASCAR official partners as Unilever and Coca-Cola.

Goodyear, the official tire sponsor of NASCAR, is also kicking off a charitable promotion. The company will honor the U.S. Armed Forces by altering the sidewalls of its tires in this weekend's race.

Keselowski, who drives the #2 Miller Lite Dodge and id known as the Blue Deuce, will be driving in his first Chase -- a kind of playoff system for the last 10 races of the season. After the 26th race of the season, all drivers in the top twelve in points qualify for The Chase, which begins with the Geico 400 at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill. on Sept. 18.

The "man cave" packages include items to create a Miller Lite Man Cave, including a kegerator, dartboard, neon sign, electronic basketball game and a pub table and two barstools.

In addition to rewarding fans, Miller Lite is honoring Keselowski's performance this season with a $22,222 donation to his Checkered Flag Foundation. MillerCoors Chief Marketing Officer Andy England surprised Keselowski with the donation during an event in his honor Sept. 15 at the company's pub in its Chicago corporate headquarters. Miller Lite will also partner with the foundation to give 222 veterans and their families a VIP experience during the upcoming Talladega race weekend.

Consumers can register for the Miller Lite Man Cave sweepstakes online at www.MillerLite.com/Brad through Nov. 19 and can also follow Keselowski's race for the Chase on the racing tab at Facebook.com/MillerLite and Twitter.com/Keselowski.

As for Goodyear, the company's tire design features a patriotic color scheme reading "Support Our Troops" on the tires that symbolically kicks off a "Goodyear Support Our Troops" initiative, an 11-week awareness and fund-raising effort designed to generate support for military families.

Race-used tires will be put up for a charity auction and signed by the drivers who used them. Consumers can visit goodyear.com/ supportourtroops for more interactive ways to get involved. Funds raised will be donated to Support Our Troops, a nonprofit nationwide organization that bolsters the morale and well-being of America's troops and their families.
